Safe & Sound Protocol
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is an evidence-based listening therapy designed to improve behavior state regulation & social engagement behaviors through filtered music. As a practical application of Polyvagal Theory, the SSP acts as a non-invasive acoustic nerve stimulator, helping retune the nervous system to better support connection, collaboration and resilience.
Benefits of adding virtual SSP sessions into your 1:1 package
The SSP involves listening to specially filtered music through headphones alongside a provider (me) remotely as well as on your own between sessions. The SSP is suitable for children and adults and has demonstrated benefits for individuals with trauma, anxiety, sensory processing differences and more.
